I’ve already forgotten where I found this pic but it is intriguing for two reasons. One is that I have always been underwhelmed with strip joints because I find them boring and plastic, and I am always befuddled as to why the bartender and waitresses aren’t naked as well. What gives? A friend told me once he went to a “nude bar” in Sydney. It had no nude dancers but the bartender was buck naked. Now THAT’s the kind of place I’d like to go to. Are there any in the US? There’s probably some silly law against it. If anyone knows, leave a comment.
The other is that this photo immediately reminded me of Eddie Manet’s A Bar at the Folies-Bergère
