Newton leaves me cold. Maybe back when I was a kid and didn’t become the porn fanatic that I have become now, I may have found his images arousing just because I didn’t have access to all the tits, pussy and ass that I do now, especially with the internet and all. But there’s something rather clinical about his work. Possibly with the exception of the series with the plump blonde, I forget the name of. Something like “Berlin Blonde”. I forget. Anyway, here’s Helmut’s famous image of some glamazons. OK, it’s fine. Interesting.
Now John B. Root, of Explicite fame, is also a very talented photographer who is for all intents and purposes, a pornographer. I couldn’t help but notice some similarity to this set, and I wonder who’s better, because art is art, etc etc, but John’s work gives me a boner but Helmut leaves me flaccid.
