Gustave Courbet, famous for a bad personality and some pretty boring landscape paintings had a bit of a shift in his painting approach toward the end of his life. He began painting rather explicit erotic painting and if you think they’re intended solely to ‘appreciate the female form’ or some such rubbish and not intended to give you a boner, you’ve got a screw loose. Now he did produce an extremely controversial and rather brilliant painting called “L’Origine du Monde”. Not only is it groovy but the pun/title is very a propos.
Of course the pussy is the origin of the world. Nice natural hairy bush, here, btw. So I do give him two thumbs up for that one. Lesser known are his cheesier, blatant porn paintings like the little schoolgirl one here:
